Clues:
a and r are not necessarily occupational (neither is aviation because you can include gamers, and model plane enthusiasts, etc)
r is already widely regarded as source of "all" conflicts
a is never considered an indicator, same as aviation
PS The #1 general category of serial killers favored occupations would fall under a (in our opinion)—that being the Comfort And Esthetics field of occupation, such as house painter and air conditioner repair.
This is the most widely-encountered generic field.
Aviation, though, is still the #1 indicator by far
for a very specific category.

We hate to jump on the bandwagon of TRIADS with yet another Homicidal Triad.
There are at least 2 other TRIADS: the MacDonald one, and The Machiavellian Triad of Evil.

But triads are helpful for illustrating basic points and perhaps some personal self-awareness. The MacDonald Triad can help an individual with self-regulation, for gun ownership and such things—items and means that would facilitate turning ideation into action. Investigations, though, need more tangible and obvious indicators that apply in adulthood. ​​​​

The recent academic survey of Occupational Indicators was only published in 2017. While the major favorite jobs of serial killers were already being discussed online since 2010.
​
Needless to say, Academia is ill-equipped to deal with violent criminal behavior as it relies on research studies done in controlled situations. We rely on none of that.

We also don't come in hating the subjects being discussed and are not beholden to anyone who could potentially be wholey or partly responsible.

We know that aviation, as an indicator, is not considered for the same reason we don't say, "Going retail", instead of saying "Going postal" when the retail industry has the most workplace murders, according to a USPS Commission. ​Elitism. We put aside any elitist bias if we have any.
There's no use moralizing either. That's for religion. We can put aside our hatred, and our love for anyone or anything, for the time it takes to study something.

Peripherally, we use the term Anti-Social in the legal sense as per a law and order society, but we acknowledge "Anti-Social" to be a relative term. One man's social is another man's anti-social.
We'll keep the term Anti-Social while painting with a large brush so as not to leave anyone out.
​(It's no different than using the word "Social" in Social Psychology where "social behavior" is defined and discussed based on the accepted "academic" and therefore statutory sense. They're using a big brush.)
